Description missive 2006-03-27 23:25:04 UTC
Version: 2.5.1 (using KDE 3.5.1, Gentoo)
Compiler: gcc version 3.4.4 (Gentoo 3.4.4-r1, ssp-3.4.4-1.0, pie-8.7.8)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.16-gentoo

I am having "remove trailing spaces" problems again, much like described in #115175 and #69316.

I don't really understand why #115175 is closed "WONTFIX". There is no explanation. (On a side note... it would be nice if the bugzilla showed changes in status along with the comments. That way we could see who changed this to WONTFIX and when).

The behavior I see now seems to be back at the old 3.2 behavior that was fixed for 3.3. The spaces are removed, but _only in the saved document_. You have to reload to see your changes.

Of course, this is not good, since reloading clobbers your undo/redo history.
