This is due to a corrupted archive file. To make it work again, you have to delete/move $KDEHOME/share/apps/akregator/Archive/*mk4. If there are archived feeds with personal value for you, you can try to copy the according .mk4 files (look for files similar to the feed url) back to that archive. Yes, right! $ rm $KDEHOME/share/apps/akregator/Archive/*mk4 works, but still Akregator should check corrupt files and take intelligent decision.
