(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: konqueror
Version: 1.9.3b (KDE 2.0 Release Candidate 1)
Severity: wishlist
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.2 19991024 (release)
OS: Linux 2.2.16 i586 (compiled sources)

Hiya

just that I don't forget this one. The old kfm using khtmlw for everything had the
nice advantage that any visited url could be shown as visited (using the visited-
links-color). Now only khtml supports this.

It would be very nice if the iconview and listviews could indicate that as well.

Cheers
Carsten Pfeiffer

Interestingly while I like this feature for khtml (when exploring websites=
)
I don't like that in the icon view at all. I know my filesystem I don't ne=
ed
colors to tell me where I've been yesterday - I may still want to go there
today. On the contrary the point of this feature for websites is that it's=
 related
to "reading": you don't read the same stuff more than once usually.

I'm not opposed to the feature but I'm pointing out a fundamental differen=
ce IMHO.
(And I would turn it off for myself that's for sure).

is this still valid for konq 4.2.4?
