Version:           1.8.3 (using KDE 3.4.3, Gentoo)
Compiler:          gcc version 3.3.5-20050130 (Gentoo 3.3.5.20050130-r1, ssp-3.3.5.20050130-1, pie-8.7.7.1)
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.15-gentoo-r1_qeldroma

Since i upgraded to kde 3.5 kontact/kmail is not able any more to clearly mark messages.
Some messages get unread again after some minutes and appear on the sys-tray-icon as new/unread?

Ex:
I open kmail. After about 1 minute, some messages i already have read get unmarked again and appear as unread.
The same with new messages...

It seems that this behavior concerns only messages from the last session, if i shut down the computer and start over again, i get the newly received messages with this problem, but that one, that appared in the last session(so received in the last but one) don't appear any more...

this is not concerning imap, they are classically pop-fetched..
