Description Maciej Mrozowski 2006-03-17 13:20:43 UTC
Version: 0.9.1a (using KDE KDE 3.5.1)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
Compiler: gcc (GCC) 3.4.5 (Gentoo 3.4.5, HTB-3.4.4-1.00, ssp-3.4.5-1.0, pie-8.7.9 -O3 -march=prescott -fomit-frame-pointer -fexpensive-optimizations -pipe
OS: Linux

Cannot seek (using keyboard buttons) in audio files (with no video stream present - whatever I use, embedded kmplayer or standalone kmplayer part shell).
When stream contains just audio stream, keyboard shortcuts responsible for seeking aren't assigned at all (to 'blank' video window which seems to be created as far as it's possible to switch to full screen without even having any video stream) or it's impossible to give them focus.

And there is something more not related to playing the stream. In konqueror embedded kmplayer there is a problem with switching back from full screen mode (and to be honest with using any other mplayer keyboard shortcut) - after switching to full-screen, video window immediately loses focus and to be able to do anything it's necessary to alt+tab to that window again to give it focus.

Still a problem in KMPlayer 0.11.3d (KDE 4.13.3).

The first time I drag the position slider in KMplayer while playing an audio-only file (tested with MP3), it restarts playback at the beginning. Further attempts to drag it have no effect.

I can't test on any newer versions until I have time to upgrade off Kubuntu 14.04 LTS in early 2019.

I don't use KMplayer anymore and I'm too busy preparing for Christmas to go out of my way to comply with a "test this now or have it WORKSFORME'd" ultimatum, so let KMplayer bit-rot, I guess.
