Version:           1.9 (using KDE 3.5.0, compiled sources)
Compiler:          gcc version 3.4.3
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.15.4-0

When looking in a folder with unread messages (blue), press Ctrl-J to activate 'apply all filters'. All my unread messages turn red to 'new' status.
