Description JM 2006-02-27 08:31:42 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.1)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages

I have some one-key shortcuts. The key "a" to go back, for instance. But when I use incremental search started with "/", I cannot use "a" in the pattern. When "a" is pressed the shortcut action is performed. It make sense to consider this "a" as a part of pattern until the searching is finished (timeout, ESC).

Marking as duplicate of the wish that asked for this functionality that you consider to be a bug. Report your case there and have the feature reversed.
