Right click on file and choose "Properties". 5. Click "Cancel" to close window -> Crash 100% reproducible. The same scenario for other files (for example JPG) does not cause crash. The same scenario for the same KWord file on local filesystem does not cause the crash. I have also noticed that if KWord file is accessed using media:/, additional file info (Author, etc.) in Properties does not appear, while if it is accessed as local file, it appears. Any hope it will be fixed? (at least for KOffice2?)
Tested under koffice r876233, 2.0 beta2+ This works fine, it does however generate the error: KLauncher could not be reached via D-Bus. Error when calling start_service_by_desktop_path: empty which is not a koffice issue. Dfaure: apparently this is an example of what is supposed to be fixed?
The message behaviour is a dup of bug 156339.
