Description Erik Hensema 2006-02-23 13:25:35 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.1)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

When a mail folder contains subfolders, and the list view is collapsed, there is no way of identifying the total number of messages (read and unread) in the folder and its subfolders. This makes it hard to hunt for new mail, especially when some folders are marked for notification of new mail and others are not.

So, I'd like to see some aggregation of the total number of messages, preferably also implementing bug 122547.

It should be noted that Outlook apparently does this (I haven't seen it myself, but a new Linux user complained about this just now).

The counts are correctly aggregated in KDE 4.3.0.
