People who work with astronomical calculations (like me, who needs to calculate things like the JD, sunrise etc and coordinates every so often) find the KStars Calculator immensely useful.

It would be even more useful if it were separated from the main KStars application, so that it can be loaded without KStars having to be loaded. Loading KStars takes time even on a fast processor, and all that overhead for just the calculator seems unnecessary. Hence this suggestion.

I hope it's not too difficult to do this.
