Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.1) Installed from: Ubuntu Packages The quicksearch bar (on top of the email list) should be improved. For the moment, it searches only through the columns made visible by the user in the email list. There should be an option to look search only certain columns, hidden or not. One should be able to use the Quicksearch to search by recipient. This is not possible yet, as the only possible column is "receiver". One can therefore look for the name of the recipient ("john doe") but not by his email address ("john@doe.com"). Generally speaking, the Kmail Quicksearch bar should be up to date with what Evolution, Thunderbird, Outlook or Eudora offer: a drop down menu with a variety of criteria to use. Otherwise it is of very little use.
This could be a duplicate of Bug #99094.
I really want this: http://www.freeemailtutorials.com/i/thunderbird_quickSearch2.gif (i don't even ask for "save search as folder")
