Description disclosed 2006-02-05 11:51:41 UTC
Version: 1.0 (using KDE KDE 3.5.1)
Installed from: RedHat RPMs

when sending a fax i sometimes need to send one or more # with the telephone number. for example #1234#0012345678

when doing this via kdeprintfax, i get connected to wrong numbers.
(calling the number directly from a phone works).

it seems like the # is not understand either by kdeprintfax or by my modem, unfortunately i have no possibility to check if it is the modem since i only run linux, but i will do it if you can provide me info on how to do it.

the modem i a lasat safire 560000V using a serial port.
kdeprintfax was set to use efax to send the fax.

What happens if you try to "escape" the # signs with a backslash in kprintfax, like this:

     \#1234\#0012345678

??

KDEPrint is obsolete, unmaintained and will never be revived. Closing all open bugs.
