Description Jont Allen 2006-02-02 13:08:36 UTC
Version: 0.20 (using KDE 3.4.2, Mandrake Linux Cooker i586 - Cooker)
Compiler: Target: i586-mandriva-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.12-12mdk-i586-up-1GB

Ghostview has an important feature that seems to be missing in kghostview. This option is to all for "boundingbox" limits on the paper size.

When printing a very large poster, the limits must be finely tuned to reduce the amount of paper that is used, and to get the image "just right." Thus this option is critical, if one wishes to preview the modified postscript file.

ghostview came to my rescue, as it has that option. There was no choice of papersize that would allow me to view my poster, so setting the bounding box option for the paper size, is critical.

Does this still apply to Okular?

No answer for years.
