Description david powell 2006-01-30 23:19:00 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.0)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

cannot zoom in over 400%

even trying to zoom in on an aria of a pdf seems to hold it at a 400% zoom

is there any way that i could zoom to 800% and 1200% or more ?

changing the code ;-)
Comment 2 Arne Schmitz 2006-05-08 14:32:32 UTC
Yes, higher zooms would be nice. It would even be ok to disable the page cache for high zoom levels, since then one wouldn't want to flip around a lot of pages. This would solve the problem of too high memory usage in high zoom levels.

This is a bug, not a wish. I type in "800%" in the combobox, and it doesn't do anything.
Comment 7 Ulrich Lukas 2008-11-26 02:57:11 UTC
"Me, too" I would really like this feature.

This would be useful for many electronic schematic diagrams, maps etc.

This is actually a duplicate of Bug 148527
(haven't found a way to mark it as such. Probably a permission problem. Whoever has a permission, please mark this dup.)
Comment 9 Albert Astals Cid 2010-12-21 09:58:44 UTC
Well, it's not a duplicate per se since one is for Okular and the other one is for KPDF, but yes, probably makes sense marking it as duplicate as all development effort that happened in KPDF shifted to Okular as KDE 4 was released.

Thanks for using KDE :-)
