I start with this setup:
"Prefer HTML to plaintext" set globally in Settings->Security->Reading.
The option is not set on the IMAP folder in question.
Now, some HTML mails are displayed as plaintext, other as HTML.
The one that is displayed as HTML has a chunk of HTML in it as well.
Now I set the folder specific option "Prefer HTML to plaintext" and all works ok (HTML messages displayed as HTML, and text as text)

Cannot reproduce in recent KDE 4.3 kmail
