Description madman 2006-01-29 11:17:05 UTC
Version: 1.9 (using KDE 3.5.0, Gentoo)
Compiler: gcc version 3.4.4 (Gentoo 3.4.4-r1, ssp-3.4.4-1.0, pie-8.7.8)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.15.1

Kmail started crashing silently yesterday. I started it from console, and noticed, that there is no more free space in $HOME.
The problem is, kmail just crashes without displaying any error message, leaving the user unaware of the problem.

Expected behaviour:
 - do not crash
 - display an information window
 - possibly offer removing messages from trash to free up some space
