Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.1) Installed from: SuSE RPMs The structure view only seems to work if the LaTeX file has the ending *.tex. It would be nice to be able to configure this behaviour (e.g. to have a structure view for Sweave files - LaTeX files intermixed with R scripts).
Hi, you can add your favourite extension to the "extensions for source files" in the project options dialog. Of course your files then have to be part of an project. Then kile will treat the file as tex file. Thanks Thomas
No reaction after two months so this bug seems to be resolved.
Sorry for reacting so slowly. This doesn't work for me. Example: I have a LaTeX document foo.Rnw. It's the master document of a project and I have added the extension to the "extension for source files" in the project options dialogue. I can't open the structure view. However, if I rename the file to foo.tex and restart Kile, the structure view opens. In the "File & Projects" view, the document now has a different symbol (red cube with label "TeX" instead of yellow cube as before). I'm using Kile 1.9.1 on with KDE 3.5.1.
Created attachment 71923 [details] Add .Rnw to m_documents. Hello, I still can't get it working with kile 2.1.2. Would it be possible to add the extension .Rnw to kileextensions.cpp? Thank you, Michael
Same here with a .lhs file, no structure shown. Switching the suffix to tex, everything is fine. And yes, I added .lhs to the "extensions for source files" and added the file to the project. No structure is shown, no matter if the file is part of a project or stand-alone. Kile 2.1.2. on KDE 4.8.5
