Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.1KDE 3.4.2) Installed from: I Don't KnowSuSE RPMs OS: Linux The size of the player window and components doesn't allow all text to fit. Part of the play window is totally hidden, while in the upper right corner, the text is overlapping. Attempts to resize the window fail. All parts of the player should size according to the size of the text that should display, regardless of the system DPI.

I also experienced this bug on a fresh install of Kubuntu Dapper (kscd 1.6). Here are the steps I took that I believe caused it: 1. In system settings increase all default font sizes from 9 to 10. 2. Insert a CD and launch kscd for the first time (you might have to delete kscd config to reproduce this). The Track information doesn't fit in the LCD area and is partially cut off. This is easily fixed by changing the kscd font size in the settings dialog but it makes it look unprofessional when you first use it.
Felix, The webpage used to create your attachment 14324 [details] is now/currently at http://fm.no-ip.com/Auth/dpi-screen-window.html and *_not_* at http://fm.no-ip.com/auth/dpi-screen-window.html I am puzzled as to why this bug report has not been confirmed yet... Gérard
Created attachment 82325 [details] kscd screenshot As of 4.11 this is almost fixed visually. The remaining visual problem is the title bar text is smaller than titlebar text in other windows. As to function, it needs help. In Mageia 3 it takes undue effort to figure out what's required to make a disc play all the way through from start to finish. In openSUSE 12.3 and 13.1 I can't get it to play anything at all in 5 4.10.5 and 4.11.0 installations on 3 different machines.
kscd is no longer maintained, please switch to an alternative application.
