Description Stefan Geuns 2006-01-19 18:58:45 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.0)
Installed from: Fedora RPMs
OS: Linux

I configured multiple reminders for 1 event. When the first reminder came I suspended it for 10 minutes. But my 2nd reminder was configured to come at the same time. Now both popped up at the same time. This is annoying, because I forgot I had configured multiple and suspended both for 10 minutes, so then my 3th reminder came and also the 2 previous ones.
So I would like korganizer to see that both reminders are in a small timespan, say for example 1 minute and then only pops up 1 instead of 2 or 3. But this should only be done if there are not from the same type (notification, sound, ..).

Reassigning all KOrganizer bug reports and wishes to the newly created
korganizer-devel mailing list.

Stefan, do you remember if you got a separate popup for each reminder?

I don't think this bug makes sense anymore, in KDE4 we only have one dialog, which has a list of reminders and their state.
Comment 3 Stefan Geuns 2009-02-28 09:44:05 UTC
If I remember correctly there where separate popups before.

It is less of a problem now, because of the single dialog. Technically it still exists (though I haven't tested if it really does) as there will be 2 lines in the single dialog with the same text, but this is not annoying to me anymore.

This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of korgac (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.08 or later), it gets closed in about three months.
Comment 5 Denis Kurz 2017-01-07 21:44:58 UTC
Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
