Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.2) Installed from: Mandriva RPMs OS: Linux I don't use kscd to play my CDs, or to encode them. Only had this problem since upgrading KDE last night. I usually use Amarok and grip. Usually, no problems. Now, when I insert a disc into the player to rip or to play, kscd will auto start. I found the preference to autostart, and (it wasn't selected, I had never started it up before) selected, and applied, then deselected and applied. It still starts everytime an audio cd is inserted. Had to uninstall it to make it stop... It should either not be installled by default or the option to make it not default player should actually work.
