Version: 3.5 (using KDE 3.5.0, Debian Package 4:3.5.0-3 (testing/unstable)) Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.14 When I put the mouse over a link in a web the status bar shows the URL of the link. But if I navigate on the page with the TAB key and focus over a link, the URL is not shown in the status bar. I think this behavior is not good for the accesibility in Konqueror, because a person who can't use the mouse can't see the URL of the links in a web page. Firefox and IE show the URL in the status bar when navigating with TAB key. Konqueror should be better than them. ;)
This should be a wishlist since it's a new feature to be implemented, but I'll leave it as an accessibility bug.
confirming for 3.5.5
Confirmed in Konqueror 3.5.6. Will be Konqueror a bad web browser in accesibility issues?
Still occurs in KDE 4.2.2.
Still in KDE 4.3 RC3.

Dear user, KHTML (and KJS) was a long time more or less unmaintained and got removed in KF6. Please migrate to use a QWebEngine based HTML component. We will do no further fixes or improvements to the KF5 branches of these components beside important security fixes. For security issues, please see: https://kde.org/info/security/ Sorry that we did not fix this issue during the life-time of KHTML. Greetings Christoph Cullmann
