Version: 1.9.1 (using KDE 3.5.0, Kubuntu Package 4:3.5.0-0ubuntu0breezy1 breezy) Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.12-10-686 I've received mail from kmail users before where newlines appeared to have been stripped from their mail, but never seen it happen to my own mail. However, a mail I sent today to the kimageshop mailing list was mangled in this way. I'll attach the original source of the mail, the mail as it arrived and my kmail config.
Created attachment 14145 [details] mail as sent Mail as stored in my sent-mail
Created attachment 14146 [details] mail as received
Created attachment 14147 [details] my kmail rc without the accounts
The received mail contains a strange header: X-MIME-Autoconverted: from base64 to 8bit by calcifer.valdyas.org id k05IsrIb004540 so I assume that the mail was already modified before kmail received it. I think there's nothing kmail can do here.
