Description Ruben Jenster 2006-01-02 12:23:11 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.0)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages

Please add a dcop handler for the 'Go Offline'/'Go Online' network connnection switch.

I want to bee able to set kmail to offline mode when suspending my system. Else the periodic mail check will throw an error on resume "your.mailserver.domain not found" if mail is checked before the network connection is re-enabled.

Regards,
Ruben

They are already available: stopNetworkJobs and resumeNetworkJobs
Comment 2 Ruben Jenster 2006-01-02 15:14:13 UTC
Thanks, that works.
The menu entry 'Go offline' doesn't change when changing the status via dcop and there is nothing displayed in the status bar.
Maybe this should be fixed.

Regards,
Ruben
