Description urwald 2006-01-02 11:08:41 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.0)
OS: Linux

I have a file with an ACL. The "normal" permissions are rw-------. The mask is rw-. There exists one named user, who's rights are rwx (in combination with the mask reduced to rw-). When I open the properties dialog in Konqueror, the permissions dialog indicates that ACLs are used, but he isn't disabled.

On the other hand, I have a directory with the permissions rwxr-xr-x. It has a default acl. There, the permissions dialog is disabled.

This seems to me a little bit inconsistant.

ACL issue.

Hm, is the default ACL explicitely set? Then the button should indeed be enabled.

This is actually the same problem as 119841
