Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.0) Installed from: Compiled From Sources Compiler: gcc version 3.3.4 -march=athlon-tbird -Os OS: Linux As the title says. If you click on a link to a PDF it downloads and opens in Konq. Then if you go 'Location->Save as' it downloads it again! This is fine if the PDF is small (or you have a very fast pipe), but when the file is large this is a pain. Why doesn't it recover the file from the /tmp/ location where it already has downloaded it to? Here is a nice small PDF (Groklaw page) to test this strange behaviour with: http://www.groklaw.net/pdf/Doc-1.pdf Nick
It copied from the temp location instead of re-downloading here.
OK, I got this - I don't use disc cache. But the behaviour is still wrong - it downloads and opens from a tmp location even if 'use disc cache' is turned off... so why doesn't it then use the /tmp/file when selected to download? Nick
