McCabe-Dansted Masters Student I don't know why this happens, as I cannot find a repeatable bug in KMail, I'll just have to presume that I have a split personality that does nothing but send unmodified replys to newsgroups. However... It would be useful if KMail popped up a warning dialog confirming that one wants to send an unmodified reply (unless reply is to a .*-request@.* email address), the same way it pops up a warning about sending a message with no subject.
Ah, I noticed that when I accidentally popped up a reply window, I thought "must close window", but my mice fingers thought "ooh that send button looks like a nice way to close the window". I caught myself just in time, this time. Still, it would be nice if KMail warned me when trying to send an unmodified reply (as with no subject).
