Version:           SVN 20051228 (using KDE KDE 3.5.0)
Installed from:    Ubuntu Packages
Compiler:          gcc (GCC) 4.0.2 20050808 (prerelease) (Ubuntu 4.0.1-4ubuntu9)  
OS:                Linux

I'd like the program to set my status to Away after I don't perform any activity within Kopete for a specified amount of time. Including (but not limited to) sending a message or a webcam request.

Another IM client, Gaim, has this feature already implemented, and before switching to KDE I found that feature very useful.
