Description Javier Ortega Conde (Malkavian) 2005-12-27 02:34:44 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.3)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

I would like very much the support of aliases in mutt and pine mail clients style. I'd like that if I write george in "To:" kmail will replace it after exiting of "To:" field, with the complete email of George. And if I write friends I'd like to be replaced with a list of emails. I think it will be a good improvement in usability to have *the option* to use aliases. I'm really thinking about using another program because I think aliases system is a lot more confortable.

When I said "a list of emails" I wanted to mean "a list of names + emails" in "George Hattaway <george@anyhost.lol>" style :)

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
Thank you for your understanding.

Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2.
