Version: 0.5 (using KDE 3.5.0, compiled sources) Compiler: Target: x86_64-linux-gnu OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.13.2 To my surprise I found no way to figure out if the document I was looking at is a A4 or a Letter document. I expect to see at least the millimeters (or inches) size of the pdf I have open. The File->Properties dialog would seem a good place for it.
Dito, this is an important information.
Created attachment 19094 [details] Quick'n'dirty patch for the missing dimension information (applies to page one only) This is a quick hack for the missing dimensions info in kpdf. The patch doesn't honor that pdf-documents can have different page sizes (e.g. first page has other size than third page). It display the dimensions for the first page only. This would have to be fixed in the future... Todo also: display size in millimeter or inches instead of points.
okular (www.okular.org) has this feature implemented. KPDF is on manteinance mode for KDE 3.5 and will desappear on KDE4, so that feature can not be implemented in KPDF. Thanks for the patch anyway :-)
Re. comment 3: Does okular display the size for each page while it is in focus? Somewhere in the status bar?
As said KPDF is no longer developed and Okular has already the feature. Closing this wish
