Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.0) Installed from: Compiled From Sources On default installations of kdesktop, the default icons should be put on the right side of the screen, and not left. IMHO, we can still leave it to visual layouts (and not mirroring the locations when QApplication::reverseLayout() ). A simple hack for the initial config should be enough.
This is related to bug 60666.
Just for reference: this is still valid for Plasma.
So, if it is still valid for Plasma too, I'm moving to Plasma. Kdesktop is no more mantained.
Now that this bug was reassigned to plasma/folderview this should be a duplicate of bug 172560.
When working in a Hebrew UI, I think in terms of Right to Left, so it would be very confusing for me if the UI was still LTR. I am in favor of this bug.
