Description kim Lux 2005-12-23 18:22:55 UTC
Version: kfind -v
Qt: 3.3.5
KDE: 3.5.0-2.2.fc4.kde
KFind: 2.0 (using KDE KDE 3.5.0)
Installed from: Fedora RPMs
OS: Linux

I use kfind all the time because I have a million files in my home directory.

I've also got 2 nfs drives mapped to my home directory with hundreds of backup and shared files in them.

I'd like a way to tell kfind NOT to search those dirs. It takes way too long to search those dirs and it ties up the server as well.

Thanks.

It would be nice if the excluded dirs were stored between usage sessions, so that they don't have to be typed in each time kfind is used.
