Description Jens Herden 2005-12-19 13:34:59 UTC
Version: 1.9.1 (using KDE 3.5.0 Level "a" , SUSE 10.0 UNSUPPORTED)
Compiler: Target: i586-suse-linux
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.13-15-default

I'd like to suggest to reduce the space the frame for the status of an Open PGP signed message needs. I am working on a notebook and space is precious.

Right now there are two or even three lines of text on top of every signed message. I do not read them! I only check the color of the frame but am seldomly interested in the text.
So I suggest to compress the message somehow to one line and if you need more space use the bottom of the frame.

Example text for a valid line:

signed by jens@kdewebdev.org; the signature is valid and trusted

The keyId is probably something nobody ever reads in daily life and could move to the bottom.

An alternative solution could be to have an icon where you get a tooltip with additional information.

Another way to save space would be to remove the gap between the fancy header and the pgp frame.

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
Thank you for your understanding.

Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2.
