Version: kde 3.5.0-1.4.fc4.kde (using KDE KDE 3.5.0) Installed from: Fedora RPMs OS: Linux After upgrading to the korganizer in the kdepim-3.5.0-1.4.fc4.kde rpm under fedora core 4 I no-longer get any pop-up event reminder windows. I have checked that the reminder box is ticked and the reminder time set appropriately.

I have similar situation with Kubuntu. My KDE version is 3.5.10, Kubuntu version is 8.04 with latest updates. Also I had problem with kontact crashes reported in another bug. I'm going to install version with debug symbols to look at. kde-config --version shows following: Qt: 3.3.8b KDE: 3.5.10 kde-config: 1.0 Exact version of kdepim package is 4.5.10-0ubuntu1~hardy3 I had no problems with kontact on my previous machine, also running kubuntu 8.04.
Are you seeing this with to-dos or events?
A couple fixes were made in KDE4 and I can't reproduce this anymore. If you can, please comment in bug 144683. If you see reminders with events and not with to-dos, please comment in bug 159822. Thanks. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 144683 ***
