Description 2005-12-12 05:54:59 UTC
Version: 1.9 (using KDE 3.5.0, Mandriva Linux Cooker i586 - Cooker)
Compiler: Target: i586-mandriva-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.12-12mdk

If a message if marked as spam is put in trash folder set with the spam icon, but theres isnt a right click menu or other thing to wich that message can be set as ham or simple unset as spam message, that message will be always marked with that spam icon.

I remembet that in kdepim-3.4.2 there was a right click menu to mark a message as ham or unset the spam message, why there isnt any now?

That's been changed by intention.
First, only changing the state of the message changes the icon, but that's it. If you use anti-spam tools, they are not automatically aware of your change.
Second, a message can now be unclassified, classified as spam or classified as not spam. Whenever you change the state, it's no longer unclassified.

The anti-spam wizard should create filters to mark a message as spam or not spam. They are included as icons in the toolbar to have them handy to classify your messages. These filters also make sure that messages are sent to your self-learning (bayesian) anti-spam tool as soon as you change the classification. So the tools remain up-to-date regarding what you consider being spam.
Of course, you still have the chance to adjust your filters to not mark a message as spam if you don't like that.

There is the filter to classify messages as ham, but this filter doesnt remove the span icon, in fact i dont see a way to remove the spam icons from spam messages and i remember that in kde-3.4.2 that was possible, existed menus to do so.

If you know a way to remove the spam icons please tell me, else i think is better to put back that popup from where you could set messages icones.

I have been checking spamassassin options and kmail filtres and now there isnt no way to remove a spam/ham icone from a message.

Please put back that 2 popup menus to (un)set the icones of the spam/ham messages.

Please someone put back those 4 right click popup items
-"Mark Message as spam"
-"Mark Message as ham"
So it can be possible to remove the spam/ham icones from messages that were set by spamassassin by spam/ham.

These use to exist in kdepim-3.4.2...

Its very annoying not being possible to do so.

Ill ask again, why isnt an option in kmail that lets the user remove the ham icon from a message that was tagged (acidently or not) as ham, so that that message can appear again normally.

This options to remove spam/ham icones used to exist in kmail from kdepim-3.4.2.

Seams no one cares about this problem...

Actually it is worksforme. It is possible to train again classifier by choosing "classify as spam/ham".
