Version: 1.2 (using KDE KDE 3.5.0) Installed from: Gentoo Packages Compiler: i686-pc-linux-gnu-3.4.4 hardened OS: Linux Akregator keeps crashing and I believe it's the number of feeds it has. If I remove http___planetkde.org_rss20.xml.mk4 wich has 3.1MB and is the biggest file from Archive, the program starts normaly. If anyone is interested in the file, I cand send it to him. Sorry for my english.
Do you have a backtrace of the crash? You can send the archive to me, frank.osterfeld at kdemail.net.
I finally found time to have a look at the archive you sent me. It crashes when expiring articles, i.e. writing changes to the archive. This is similar to Bug 116482, but not identical: There Akregator already crashes when loading the file, which works fine here. It all boils down to metakit's "graceful" handling of corrupted archives...
Well, the experienced error might not be 100% identical to 116482, but for us it is effectively the same - metakit crashes sooner or later when archives are broken. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 116482 ***
