Description kevin.mccullor 2005-12-06 00:04:03 UTC
Version: 2.0.1 (using KDE 3.4.0 Level "b" , SUSE 9.3)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.5 20050117 (prerelease) (SUSE Linux)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.11.4-21.9-smp

I am using a Compaq Worstation SP750 with a COMPAQ DLT7000 35/70G external tape drive.
OS - SuSe 9.3

I can access tape drive with mt -f /dev/st0 status

I can not access it through KDAT as root or as user.

Please advise.

Kdat is not developed and mantained anymore. All Kdat bugs are closed with the status "unmantained".
