Description Jonas Lihnell 2005-11-28 20:40:07 UTC
Version: 3.5 (using KDE 3.5 (RC2), Gentoo)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.6 (Gentoo 3.3.6, ssp-3.3.6-1.0, pie-8.7.8)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.13-gentoo-r5

It is currently possible to set up a schedule for like everyday during a month except a few days. My case is a bit different, I want to have an even that recurs on given days instead of according to logical schedules.

I am currently simulating this by adding recurrence for each day in a month and then adding exceptions for about 2/3rds of the month, which is a tad bit troublesome.

if I could instead set it to recur on custom dates my work schedule would be so much easier to edit and work with.

just a suggestion.
cheers Roze.

Reassigning all KOrganizer bug reports and wishes to the newly created

The Exceptions section can remove dates. I think that the OP is asking for something similar, that can _add_ dates. I can see this being usefu, in fact, I do have use for such a feature.

Does icalendar format support this?

I think that the more important question is whether Akonadi supports this or not. If not, we should file a feature request. Who can we ask about this?
