OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.14.3

You can choose which channel is adjusted when you use the mouse wheel on the kicker symbol by right-clicking on the symbol and then selecting the second menu entry. I set this to PCM. However, this setting is forgotten after logout. It would be nice if kmix remembered this.

This sound very much like bug 111152.
