After shutting down Azureus, kwin crashed, causing the kicker and window title bars to disappear. Other than that, most things still worked, including hitting alt+f2 and restarting kwin. Maybe worth mentioning is that Azureus keeps an icon in the system tray panel? This crash has occured twice. I'm using 3.5 Release Candidate. Here's the crash report from the second crash:
