Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.3) Installed from: Ubuntu Packages When in a "Select Folder" dialog (in my case by selecting move to -> browse in the context menu of a file in konqueror), it is impossible to select a folder on a remote location. When I click the "Network Folders" button in the left column and then select a remote location, the dialog just shows some sort of spinning wheel on the folder icon, but never actually opens the remote location. I saved the password for that location in a wallet, but even if the problem is that it waits for a password, it still should just present me a password dialog and the continue logging in.
Indeed I can reproduce it. In my opinion it doesn't come from the password or something similar. It seemss tied to the fact that remote:/ redirects. Then it should be fixed in the dialog itself.
I have the same problem, I always hit this with kate when I try using the fish KIO. The fish KIO is the only thing that keeps me using KDE, but since its so buggy I'm using more of fuse+sshfs than this.
Is this still an issue with KDE Frameworks 5.44 or greater? And if so, which specific use cases?
