Description Misha Aizatulin 2005-11-12 11:21:16 UTC
Version: 0.10.1 (using KDE KDE 3.4.2)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

Entered following values in the MLDonkey wizard:
Work folder: /home/avatar/bin/mldonkey/
core location: /home/avatar/bin/mlnet
chose "Start the core when KMLDonkey starts"
(all paths are existent)

got: Connection to the core was refused. Are you sure it is running?

The only way to run KMLDonkey seems to be running mlnet by hand.

Bug confirmed cause I got a mail from another user who has the same problem :(

I wasn't able to figure out if it's KMLDonkey's or MLDonkey's failure yet cause of missing time. I'll try to look at it next week.

Thanks for the feedback Mischa.
Comment 2 Misha Aizatulin 2005-11-15 02:56:01 UTC
Update: it seems that the problem only appears when mlnet is not in the path. I added it to the path, now everything works allright.

I same thing but in my case mlnet is in path and still kmldonkey does not start it.

System Gentoo 2006.1 (gcc 4.1.1, kde 3.5.2, kmldonkey 0.10.1)
