Description Steven T. Hatton 2005-11-11 20:35:54 UTC
Version: 1.8.2 (using KDE 3.4.2 Level "b" , SUSE 10.0)
Compiler: Target: i586-suse-linux
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.13-15-default

Two of the most common functions I invoke in KMail are Folder->Thread Messages, and View->Headers->[selection]. I'm wondering if it would be possible to provide buttons to perform these tasks in the message list frame and message frame respectively.

Do you know that you can assign custom keyboard shortcuts to any menu item?
(see Settings menu)
That way you're even faster than clicking any button.

That is good to know. For me, especially with "view headers", it's the kind
of thing that I use relatively rarely, but just enough that I want it to be
convenient. I would probably forget about any customization that wasn't
under my nose.
