Version:           0.44 (using KDE 3.4.2 Level "b" , SUSE 10.0)
Compiler:          Target: i586-suse-linux
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.13-15-default

The scanner test under YAST is ok. But by starting kooka under KDE the scanner is not available

Please confirm if this is still a problem and, if so, what type of scanner you are using.  Also please check if it is possible to scan using xsane or Gimp.

Unprobeable network or USB scanner may be bug 139932.
