I wish to move my folders within the explorer from one position to another.

Situation:
i have a folder for each customer and one "inactive" folder where i move in old customers so that the folder with the active customers is not too long an i can easily and faster move mails to the folders via drag'n'drop.

In that situation i often move customer folder from active to inactive and back. I do it in the same way for other stuff ... 

Today i have to choose a destination sub-folder by popup-menues. For that i have to choose up to 5 sub-folders and then "move folder here" - it would be perfekt to move the folder by drag'n' drop to a preferred location.

Are you referring to the Kmail component? You can in fact drag and drop folders in Kmail.

It seems that all relevant Kontact components currently behave as the OS requested, and the OP has abandoned the bug. Closing.
