Version:            (using KDE KDE 3.4.92)
Installed from:    Unlisted Binary Package

When i open another instance of a running program (both kde and non-kde programs do the same), kwin adds <2> at the end of the title of the second one, <3> at the end of the 3rd...

Please, remove the feature or at least add an option to turn it off.

It would be great if KDE 4 had this fixed.

thank you for your feature request. Unfortunately it does not seem like your wish is common among our user base. I want to say sorry that this request had been unanswered for such a long time.

For future feature request we recommend to use brainstorm.forum.kde.org as this can give better feedback from the userbase.
