Description Brian van der Bijl 2005-11-02 11:43:04 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.92)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

It should be possible to give a song in Amarok multiple album / artist tags, eg by comma seperation. Examples:

*The song "under preasure" is made by Queen and David Bowie. Entering "Queen, David Bowie" as artist should list the song by "Queen", and by "David Bowie" in the collection browser, instead of by "Queen, David Bowie". This also makes sense for artists featuring other artists, remixes and Artist A Vs. Artist B "battles".

*Some songs appear on multiple albums by the same artist, eg on a studio album, and on a best of album, and on a compilation. All three songs are completely the same, so it is a waste of disc space to have them thrice. Instead, setting album to "Album-Title, Best of Artist, Genre Jewels" should list the song in all three albums.
