Description Sabourin Gilles 2005-10-30 00:22:17 UTC
Version: 1.8.3 (using KDE KDE 3.4.3)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

Usually, I use kmail recipients selector : I have no contact in kaddressbook.

Whenever I select a recipient whose name appears to be empty in recipients selector (only his email address is known), and click on " Add as to: " button, the field " To " remains empty.

Only the recipient type " TO, CC, BCC " is updated.

Confirmed for 3.5 branch. Here is how you can reproduce the problem:

I added a contact to the addressbook. The contact didn't have a name, only an email address. I created a new message and started the recipients selection dialog by pressing the button next to the address input field for To. I selected the entry containing only the email address, and KMail (3.5 Beta 2) correctly put the email address into the To field.

Then I selected another entry containing only an email address. It was one of the recent addresses entries. When I selected that entry and wanted to add it into the To field, nothing happened.
