Version: 3.4.92-1 (using KDE KDE 3.4.92) OS: Linux it's a minor issue (not a functionality bug) on an html page with the following link... http://groworganic.info/wiki/index.php/%D7%A2%D7%9E%D7%95%D7%93_%D7%A8%D7%90%D7%A9%D7%9.. the above hex encoded url is encoded to... http://groworganic.info/wiki/index.php/×¢×××_ר××©× (on the bottom status/location bar) which should encode to hebrew letters http://groworganic.info/wiki/index.php/עמוד_ראשי clicking the url, open the link correctly, but shows the miss-encoded letter in the location bar.
Switch to an UTF-8 locale and it'll work. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 55177 ***
i've changed page encoding to UTF-8 (it was some ISO-8859-8-i (hebrew) encoding) and it linked ok. thanks :-) i wonder, if i should advise the people behind the web cms software i'm using or is it a konqueror issue ? i also agree about being duplicate to 55177 (in some way, it was too techi for me :-)
It's a Konqueror issue that cannot be fixed until KDE 4.0.
