Version: 0.8 (using KDE KDE 3.4.3) Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages OS: Linux Hi, I just compiled 0.8.0-0beta2-1 from debian/experimental and noticed something in the new version of the whitebalance plugin which I think is really counterintuitive: When I scroll the sliders with my mouse wheel, the values go down if I scroll up and they go up if I scroll down. It would be nice to get this fixed before the release. Thanks, Wolfi
Hi Wolfram, Your problem isn't relevant od digikam and White balance... This is common setting. Mouse wheel rules is a setting in kcontrol panel at Peripherals/Mouse/Reverse scroll direction. I close this bug. GIlles Caulier

Thanks for telling me were to change that. digikam is the only kde application I use, so I was a bit stumped at that. > > I close this bug. > > GIlles Caulier With best regards, Wolfi
Hi Gilles, I'm sorry 'reverse scroll direction' setting does not fix it. Try: o Move with the mouse over the slider an scrollup --> value is decreasing o Move the mouse over the valuefield and scrollup --> value is increased When you select 'reverse scroll direction' the change is just flipped but scrolling the wheel in the same direction is still _different_ for slider and valuefield. As Wolfram IMHO correctly notes is that scrolling the wheel in one direction should change the value in the same way (independent if one is over the slider or the valuefield. I did reopened the bug. Hope that's okay. Achim
Well, if you want to re-open this bug please use another B.K.O folder, because i use Standard QT combo box in plugin implementation. Gilles
Hi Gilles, uh, right! I've tried other apps they how the same 'problem'. I still think that it is strange, but it's not a digikam bug. Sorry for the trouble. Closing the bug Achim
