Description Tristan Miller 2005-10-23 14:46:55 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.3)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

Some CDs include a bonus song in the last track of the CD. This song is not in a track by itself, but rather occurs after several seconds or minutes of silence following the song at the beginning of the last track.

Please add support to kaudiocreator for ripping such tracks into two separate files, discarding the intervening silence.

Thank you for the bug report.

As this report hasn't seen any changes in 5 years or more, we ask if you can please confirm that the issue still persists.

If this bug is no longer persisting or relevant please change the status to resolved.

This is still an issue, unfortunately.
Comment 3 Christoph Cullmann 2025-06-10 16:05:28 UTC
This project is unfortunately no longer maintained.

If a new maintainer wants to step up and take care, the project is archived here:

https://invent.kde.org/unmaintained/kaudiocreator

You can just clone it in your private namespace on invent.kde.org and if you have started to work on it and fixed/implemented something get it reviewed and the project unarchived.

Sorry for the inconveniences.

Actually, thank you so much. I thought this was a k3b issue, and would not have found/filed the right issue for the right software if you hadn’t sent this message.
